Welcome to our world of discovery and learning!

Welcome to our daily blog! We use it to share daily updates on our classroom, reflections on our learning with children, and photographs. Extended family, friends, neighbors, educators, etc, are also encouraged to follow the blog!
One of the wonderful aspects of blogging is that it allows real-time interaction between home and school. Is your child talking about what we are doing in school? Leave us a comment and let us know! Are you interested (or even an expert!) in something we are studying? Leave us a comment and let us know! Are you planning an outing with your child to extend the classroom learning? Leave us a comment and invite other families along!
We also have a section call, "Learn More About..." When we write each post, we tag it with relevant topics. And so if you wanted to see what we have been doing with, for instance, science, you would click on that tag, and see all the posts about science.

The Return of the Blog Monster!

Friends! It appears that we may have fixed the blog bug! Please let us know if there are any viewing issues. One note of importance is that, due to memory space, we may need to upload pictures smaller, but if you see any that you particularly love, feel free to email us and we will send it your way!

Today we received a visit from Gwen, the Lower School librarian, who read us a story about a family expecting a baby. Why? Because someone in our class is going to be an order sibling! The book outlined wishes that the family might have, some things to expect, and conveys wonderful messages of love.

We went outside for our daily outside time, and found that the weather likes to play games just as much as we do! So after some time outdoors to run around and exert some energy, we came inside for some more fun. Choices included a sensory-stimulating table with shaving cream and corn starch...
...and collaboratively working on a number puzzle together!

Two favorites make a favorite: play dough and shaving cream
